Our Story — Born in Serdang, Built for Malaysia
It all started in Serdang, Selangor. Walking through the local night markets (pasar malam) and speaking with independent shop owners, we noticed a painful pattern: brilliant local products were failing to reach their audience simply because digital marketing had become too complex.
Small business owners were being buried under technical jargon — trying to learn copywriting, design high-converting Meta Ads, master landing page HTML builders, and write complex AI prompts, while simultaneously managing inventory and logistics. The corporate tools were expensive, generic, and lacked local soul.
We built Sgen AI to be the equalizer. By engineering automated backend pipelines that translate raw product links into complete marketing funnels, and tuning models in regional accents (Manglish, colloquial Malay, local Chinese hooks), we make enterprise-scale growth accessible to every local seller.
Our platform helps local sellers skip prompt engineering entirely, serving over 1,800 active stores across West and East Malaysia.
